This summer, the stage is set for an unforgettable adventure at The Astor’s Broadway Bound Summer Camp!
Designed for children ages 5-12, this 12-week themed program brings the magic of Broadway to life with acting, singing, dancing, and behind-the-scenes fun. Whether your child dreams of performing under the spotlight or designing the next great stage production, Broadway Bound is where creativity shines!

Program Details
Camp Dates: June 9 – August 29, 2025
Location: The Astor of Chelsea at 128 Van Buren St, Chelsea, MI 48118
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Select Themed Nights until 8:00 PM!)
Ages: 5 – 12 years old
Enrollment: 5-day-per-week registration (no minimum number of weeks required)
Broadway Camp Highlights
🎤 Broadway Workshops – Campers take part in specialized workshops in acting, singing, dancing, and stage design, led by talented professionals. Imagine learning:
- “Hamilton” choreography 🕺
- “The Lion King” vocal techniques 🎶
- “Wicked” character development đźŽ
🎬 Showcase Production – Every week, campers will rehearse and perform their own Broadway-style show, whether it’s a mash-up of famous musicals or an original production. They’ll experience auditioning, costume design, and stage management firsthand!
🎨 Behind-the-Scenes Magic – Campers explore the technical side of Broadway, learning lighting, sound, set design, and makeup, plus help design sets and costumes for their big performance!
🌟 New York and Professional Artists Meet-and-Greet – Throughout the summer, special guest performers, directors, and choreographers will make surprise virtual or live appearances for Q&A sessions, mini masterclasses, and expert advice!
🎠Themed Nights (Stay until 8 PM on select Thursdays!) – Campers will enjoy Broadway-inspired fun, including:
- Broadway Karaoke 🎤
- Costume Parades đź‘—
- Tony Awards Night 🌟 (where campers dress to impress in Broadway-inspired looks!)
🏕️ Summer Camp Spirit – Beyond the stage, campers will enjoy classic summer camp activities, including sports, talent shows, outdoor adventures, and friendship-building games — all with a Broadway twist!
Program Details
Hours: Monday – Friday from 8:00am-6:00pm
Cost: $325 per week per child
Activity Fee: $100 non-refundable fee is required at registration to reserve your spot
Tuition Deadline: Full payment due on or before May 15th, 2025
